EMULSION BUTADIENE-STYRENE RUBBER WITHOUT OIL(SBR)

Emulsion Butadiene-Styrene Rubber (SBR) is butadiene-1.3 and styrene or methylstyrene copolymer.

SBR is widely used in tire, industrial rubber, and cable and footwear industries. Wide use of SBR is explained by high technical properties of the rubbers based on them.

Synthetic rubber SBR-1502 is is obtained by copolymerization of butadiene with α-methylstyrene at a temperature of (4-8) °C where used as emulsifier is a mixture of disproportionated rosin and synthetic fatty acid soaps or complex emulsifiers. Medium Mooney viscosity.

Storage conditions

Styrene butadiene synthetic rubber SBR-1500 is essentially a styrene (23.5%) and butadiene (76.5%) copolymer obtained by emulsification method with the use of resin/fatty soaps. The polymer contains no nitrosamines and substances that may become a source of nitrosamines.
